HALL, Rev. Sam Jr. 73, of Springfield, went home to be with his Lord, Tuesday, October 11, 2011. He was born July 15, 1938 in Bevinsville, Kentucky, the son of Sam and Lillie (Mullins) Hall Sr. Rev. Hall was a member of the Greater Life Apostolic Church and had devoted over 35 years of his life serving his Lord and Savior as a Pastor.
He is survived by his beloved wife; Martha Sue (Bussard) Hall whom he married May 4, 1963, three children; Michael Ray Hall, Springfield, Marcella (James Thomas) Edwards, Hillsboro and Christenia Hall-Edwards, Springfield, grandchildren; Joshua Jr., Jordan, Jacob, Zacharia, Austin, Jarica, Brad and Erin, great grandchild, Madison, Joshua Wunderly, who was raised by the Halls and was like a grandson, half sister; Bertha (Richard) Thomas, Springfield and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson; Joshua Jr., several brothers and sisters and his parents.
Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Friday in the funeral home with Pastor David Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Fletcher Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Hall's family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Darr and Staff and Community Mercy Hospice for all of their wonderful care.
