RIVINGTON, Olive (Briscoe)
Peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in her 95th Year. Beloved wife of the late Glenn Ruggles Rivington. Cherished mother of Elaine and her husband Frank Argue of Stittsville, Betty Rivington-Law of Toronto, Glenda Wallace (late John) of Calgary and Brian and his wife Jill Robinson of Carp. Predeceased by her beloved daughter Nancy. Devoted grandmother of Brent (Sonya) and Shawn (Kathryn) Argue, Tara, Deirdre (Patrick) and Devin Law, Jason and Nichola Wallace, Kristie (Brad), Kyle (Sophie), Chelsea (R.J.) and Jaclyn (Patrick). Loving great-granny of Tyler, Ella and Bryden Argue, Mila and Sydney Grace Argue, Mackenzie Law, Conor and Emma Givelas, Peyton Gilchrist, Sawyer Rivington, Linnea and Specter Johnson. Predeceased by her siblings Keith, Ina Humphries, Cecil and Neil. Survived by her brother-in-law Douglas Rivington, sisters-in-law Janet Briscoe, Erva Rivington and Helene (Keith Lebarron). Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was devoted and loving to her family and friends and we are grateful to have had such a role model in our lives. The family will receive friends at the Carp Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp, Ontario on Sunday, January 14 from 1:30 - 4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, January 15 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday January 15 at 11 a.m. at St. James Anglican Church Carp.
