Funeral services for Jesse Lovard Everett, 84, of Terrell, are scheduled for 10:30 am, Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point, TX. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to service time.
Jesse passed away June 12, 2021, at his home in Terrell.
Jesse Lovard Everett was born August 3, 1936, in Texarkana, TX, to the late Jesse Clarence Everett and Marjorie Elizabeth Freeman Everett. He was raised in Texarkana and joined the United States Army to serve his country for twenty years and retired in 1975. He married Evelyn Rae Harris April 20, 1956, in Dallas. They lived in various locations during his military career and eventually settled in Terrell. Jesse independently owned and operated Everett Motor Company in Terrell for many years. He was of the Baptist faith, and was a member of the Dallas Independent Automobile Dealers Association, serving as president in 1981, and a member of Texas Independent Automobile Dealers Association, serving as president in 1991.
He is preceded in death by his parents, J.C. Everett and Marjorie Everett Carter; brother, Lee Everett; and sisters, Carolyn Braddy and Helen Walker.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Evelyn Everett of Terrell; son, Jesse Ray Everett and wife Denise of Wills Point; daughters, Teresa Wobig and husband Kurt, Marie Southard and husband David, Sandra Hollon and husband Robin, Annetta McBeth and husband Joe, all of Terrell; grandchildren, Steven Wobig, Trisha Rushing, Erika Herbert and husband Brian, Bryan Southard and wife Kathryn, Jeff Southard and wife, Dominique, Jesse Everett and wife Brittany, Joshua Everett, and Haley Efthim and husband John; great grandchildren, Trista Wobig, Kaitlyn Timbes, Logan Timbes, Austin Timbes, Kayden Herbert, Kaleb Herbert, Hunter Southard, Garrett Southard, Adalynn Southard, Noah Southard, Maven Southard, Ariella Southard, Aphrodite Southard, Kalea Southard, Jesse Everett, Jolee Everett, Jexson Everett and Emery Efthim; and many other relatives and friends.
