Robert Wayne Beaird was born on June 24, 1931, in Kenefic, Oklahoma, to parents James Wesley and Vida Mary Beaird. Mr. Beaird graduated from high school in Kenefic and, shortly thereafter, he joined the U.S. Army in June of 1951. He was honorably discharged on December 22, 1953.
Robert met the love of his life, Lorraine Larson, in Germany. They were married on May 15 & 16, 1953. Upon his discharge from the military, the couple moved to St. Paul, Minnesota. He then furthered his education; he became a teacher, vice principal, and basketball coach. He even served as the mayor at one time!
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers, and two sisters.
