Mrs. Rosa Berlinda Johnson was born on August 12, 1952 to the late John and Rosa
Lee Hodges in Montgomery County. She was a devoted member of The First African
Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, GA until her health declined. Mrs. Johnson transitioned
peacefully at her residence on September 26, 2020. She is preceded in death by her
husband Willie James Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving son Marvin Peeples, Sr. (Daphne) of
Uvalda, GA; two brothers Willie Edward Hodges and Willie John Hodges both
of Mt. Vernon, GA; three sisters Brenda Wiggs (Zackery) of Mt. Vernon, GA; Janet
Hagans of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren Shakea Peeples-Bell (Jacob), Monterio
Peeples, Marvin Peeples, Jr, and Shanece Peeples all of Mt. Vernon, GA; 9 Great-
Grandchildren; one god daughter TeTeama Bennett of Afghanistan and a host of nieces,
nephews, and other relatives and friends.
