Joyce Pray Holden passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was 86. She was born in Croydon Manor, raised in Bristol, later moving to Levittown where she raised her children and after 40 years she moved and retired in Bristol in the home in which she was raised. Joyce was the daughter of Ray and Marie (Bonner) Pray.

She was a graduate of Bristol High School Class of 1953 and her yearbook caption was "A regular miss if ever there is one" Life to her was full of fun. Joyce worked at I/O Controls, then accepted a position with General Machine Products and also volunteered her time for Dr. Anthony Rock for 16 years. She loved helping Dr. Rock run his office. She loved all Dr. Rock's patients and made many friends. Dr. Rock was a sheer pleasure to work with daily.

Joyce was a fun loving person. She always would take time to listen to people who needed to talk or needed advice. Joyce was a people lover but her family always came first. She had the patience to listen and try to help anyone. Joyce loved all her family's friends and her home had an open door policy. She was a homemaker until all her children were in school. Joyce loved to travel to numerous places with her sister and to the Jersey Shore when her children were young and later she enjoyed the Casinos.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Holden. He always referred to Joyce as his bride. She is survived by 6 children, Billy, Jacklyn Dembach (Mitchell), Sheila Bainbridge (Glenn), Valoree Maria, Kelly Ann Esterline (Jimmy), Tracy Ann McLaughlin (Mike), 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her one and only beloved sister and best friend, Geraldine Facchiano and her loving sister-in-law, Karin Pray. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Raymond and Jack Pray. Her family was her whole life.

She was the last one to survive in the Holden family. She loved the entire Holden family. Her in-laws were a pleasure and they were like sisters and brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Tuesday morning 9-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
