Brimfield - Kenneth Allan Gray, age 68 of Brimfield, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, June 1st, 2021, at his home.
Ken was born September 26th, 1952, in Ravenna OH, to parents Ernest "Pete" and Mary (Adelman) Gray. He graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School in 1970. He had a long career at ODOT within the Traffic Control Squad, beginning as a Drafting Technician, and retiring after 35 years as a Design Specialist. Ken was an avid golfer who also enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Zeppelin Rifle Club in Akron. His favorite things to do included watching a variety of sports and catching up with family and friends.
Ken is survived by his daughter Krystal and son-in-law Ralph McGrady, as well as his grandchildren Abbie and Aidan. He is also survived by many loving cousins and friends. Ken was preceded in death by his parents.
His wishes for cremation are being honored. Friends and family will be received Friday, July 2nd, 2021, from 5:00 – 6:00 PM with a memorial service officiated by Pastor Bob Burgess at 6:00 PM at the New Testament Baptist Church, 3583 State Route 59, Ravenna, OH 44266. Private inurnment will take place at Standing Rock Cemetery.
