Politician. José Ernesto Ezequiel Perusquía Layseca is known for leading, directing and assuming the position of Governor of Querétaro between June 30, 1917 and October 1, 1919 and being a constituent deputy from 1916 to 1917 to draft a new constitution. He is buried at the Panteón Civil de Dolores, in February 2017, a cenotaph of his was unveiled in the Pantheon of Illustrious Querétanos.
