Mrs. Mildred O. "Millie" DeVries-Cooper age 97, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021. She was born in Thompsonville, Michigan on March 26, 1924, to Homer & Beatrice (Hysell) Beall. She married Willard Devries on June 29, 1946, until his passing in 1976. Mildred married John Cooper on November 23, 1990, and they were married for 21 years until his passing in 2012. Mrs. Cooper had been employed as a teacher's aid for Muskegon Public Schools and worked in customer service at Sears for over 20 years. Millie was a member of Central Reformed Church and their women's circle, she also attended Unity Reformed Church. She enjoyed traveling, reading, playing cards, birdwatching, and spending time with her family. SURVIVORS Children, Thomas (Janice) DeVries, Barbara (Roger) Brink, Pam (Don) Correll; Step-children, Ted (Lisa) Cooper, Sally Roberts; 9 Grandchildren; 18 Great-grandchildren; Sister-in-law, Dorothy Christenson; Many Nieces and Nephews; Special Friend, Roger LeMeiux. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husbands, Willard DeVries and John Harold Cooper; Sisters, Elaine Shepard, Crystal Shore, Joan Hanline. SERVICE Private family services will be held.
