LeRoy Highfield Davis, born August 6, 1933 in Nanjemoy, Maryland, died on June 10, 2021 at home.
LeRoy served in the Maryland National Guard for five years and in the U.S. Army for two years. He retired from the State Highway Administration where he was Resident Maintenance Engineer for Charles County and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Waldorf.
He was the son of Robert E. Davis and Florence A. (Thomas) Davis. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Lee Davis, his grandson, David Anthony Davis, and his brother, Dallas Ellwood Davis.
LeRoy was the loving husband of 63 years of Helen Betty Ann (Rye) Davis. He was the father of Lori Ann O'Neal and grandfather of Rachel Ann (Scott) Parker and Joshua Lee Davis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins plus many friends.
Visitation on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 10AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM at First Baptist Church of Waldorf, 10045 Bunker Hill Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20603. Interment to follow at Nanjemoy Baptist Church Cemetery, 3030 Baptist Church Road, Nanjemoy, Maryland 20662.
