She was united in marriage to James Pierce on September 12, 1966 in Steele, MO.
She had been employed with Milwaukee Tool and Tenaris in Blytheville, AR.
Diane was a member of the Mt. Zion Worship Center in Steele. She was a hard worker, and enjoyed working and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Genevieve Hinklin, five brothers, Eddie Hinklin, Delmar Hinklin, Bill Hinklin, Charles Hinklin, and David Hinklin, and one sister, Joyce Sneed.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Pierce, of Cooter, her children, Stacey Brown and Chris, of Cooter, Glen Pierce, of West Plains, MO, Mike Pierce and Lynette of Kennett, MO, three siblings, Patricia Rodgers of Armorel, AR, Donnie Hinklin of Jonesboro, AR, and Dibbie Johnson of Jonesboro, three grandchildren, Brittany Brown, Candice Johnson, and Hunter Timmons, one great grandchild, River Johnson.
Graveside services were held on June 5 at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, MO with Rev. Ralph Amerson and Bro. Thomas Blagg. Pallbearers were Brandon Fisher, Brian Fisher, Corey Hinklin, Matt Hinklin, Dewayne Williams, and John Pierce.
