Jane E. Berger, 76, of 1361 Biafore Ave., Bethlehem, died Sept. 24 in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was married to Luther Berger for 52 years last February.
A 1947 graduate of Kutztown State Teachers College, she taught first grade for 35 years for the Bethlehem Area School District before retiring in 1982.
Born in Lansford, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Ida (Barnhart) Edwards.
She was a Lutheran.
She was a member of the Retired Pennsylvania Teachers Association.
Survivor: Husband.
