She was born on August 21, 1939.
Laquita was a retired telephone operator for Alltel Telephone Company where she was employed for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Hogg and Esther Hogg; her sons, Brad Martin and Brent Martin; and her brother, James Hogg.
Laquita is survived by her son, Keith Martin and wife Mila; her granddaughter, Sara; her sister-in-law, Pat Hogg; and her niece, Melissa Pierce of Fordyce.
The graveside services will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Fordyce with Bro. Nathan Petty officiating.
