Russell J. Troxell, farmer of near Union Mills, this county, was found hanging from a rafter in the barn of his farm on Wednesday morning at 6 o'clock. Mr. Troxell was found by his wife, who called Dr. G. Lewis Wetzel. Coroner George E. Benson and Sheriff Ray Yohn were summoned. They deemed an inquest unnecessary.
The deceased was a son of Milton H. Troxell of near Westminster. He leaves also his wife and four children, Isabelle, Maurice, LeRoy and Anna, all at home; one brother Earnest Troxell, Westminster; and a sister, Mrs. John Brewer, Detour.
Funeral services were conducted from the home of the deceased father, Milton H. Troxell, near this city, on Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Rev. Williams of Union Bridge will be in charge. Interment will be in Beaver Dam Cemetery. Harvey Bankard & Son, funeral directors.
