Virginia G. Myers, of the Pine Run Community in Doylestown, passed away on Monday evening, June 7, 2021. She was 89 years old. "Ginny" as she was affectionately known by her family and friends, was born in Philadelphia on January 23, 1932 to the late Harold N. Geist and Clara T. (née Turner) Geist. She was a graduate of the Philadelphia High School for Girls. After graduating, she worked as a secretary for The Insurance Company of North America (INA), where she met her husband, the late Louis H. Myers, Jr. She left INA to raise her family. Ginny enjoyed singing and was very involved in her church choir. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially at the Jersey Shore.
Ginny is survived by her children, Janet Coppage and her husband Ken, Ruth Gerding and her husband Scot, Joyce Jacoby and Roy Myers; along with her grandchildren, Stephanie Nance, Renee Buthe, Bret Gerding, Kelly Gerding, and Savannah Jacoby. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Geist.
A private graveside service for Ginny will be held at Hillside Cemetery.
