Jamie Caldwell White passed away on June 6, 2021, at her residence in Leicester NC. Jamie was born in Asheville, NC on December 17th 1961. She was preceded in death by her father Reed Howard Caldwell.

Her survivors include her daughters, Jackie Buckner of Leicester NC and Jennifer Ogle and her husband Bryan of Marshall, NC; sisters, Joyce Hazel and her husband Harold of Candler, NC, June Caldwell of Maiden, NC, Jeanette Hitt and her husband, James of Greenville, SC. Jamie also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Always a hard worker, Jamie worked at several jobs during her life. However, the job she loved the most was Bud's Caregiver, a disabled individual. Jamie and Bud were the Best of Friends and she went above and beyond providing Bud the best care in the world! She never missed a holiday bringing him out to enjoy the day with family and friends. Next to Christmas, Halloween was one of their favorite holidays. Jamie and Bud started getting ready months in advance by dressing up, decorating the yard, the house and preparing over 400 bags of candy for the neighborhood kids. She loved Bud and treated him with dignity and respect until his death.

Jamie gave her "heart and soul" to her volunteer work with Brother Wolf Pet Adoption Organization. Her dogs were, as she said her "Babies". Jamie worked seemingly around the clock to take care and provide a loving pampered life for any dog in her care. Each dog had daily treats that included dog bones with peanut butter spread, nightly baths and a personal cot inside Jamie's home for each dog. All eleven dogs slept inside at night cozy, loved and warm. Any rescue that was blessed enough to be in Jamie's care was the Luckiest Dog in the World! Jamie loved her Babies and it showed in how she cared for them.

She was always willing to help someone in need of a helping hand. Several individuals resided with Jamie during difficult times in their lives. Jamie would help people get back on their feet, sometimes at low or no cost. She typically traded work around the yard for room and board. Jamie loved gardening, planting flowers and mowing. Her yard was like a Show Place and something she was very proud of.

Jamie was a great mother who loved her children, she was a good sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Marshall, NC.
