MARION - Mr. Edward Lee "Mr. Ed" Morgan, 48, son of Charles and Barbara Caulder Morgan, passed away after a brief illness in Warwick, Pennsylvania on Monday, June 7, 2021, while away on a job with his construction unit.
Edward or "Mr. Ed" as he was affectionately known by some was born in Marion County on January 28, 1973, a baby boy to Charles and Barbara Caulder Morgan of Marion. Edward graduated Marion High School and following school he had became a heavy machinery operator. He was a member of McMillan Memorial Baptist Church.
Big Ed was a simple man, a hard worker, loved his dog, Blazer and always had a quick joke and a big smile for friends and family alike. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Surviving Ed are his parents of Marion, Charles and Barbara C. Morgan; two brother, Tim Morgan (Dawn) of Marion and Andy Morgan (Michelle) of Lumberton, NC; a sister, Cindy Richardson (Sam) of Marion; and his best friend, Blazer, his dog.
A graveside service for Ed will be held Sunday afternoon, June 13 at 2:00 p.m. in New Life Cemetery in Marion, with Rev. Robin Elvington officiating. The services will be live-streamed on the Cox-Collins Funeral Home Facebook page.
