A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cherry Grove Friends Church in Battle Ground for Marilyn Ann Barta, 50, who died Sunday, April 21, 2002, in a car accident on Northeast Yacolt Mountain Road.
Mrs. Barta, a homemaker, loved music and enjoyed gardening, exercising and walking in the woods.
She was born Nov. 26, 1951, in Eureka, Mont., and lived in Clark County 17 years. Her maiden name was Yoppe.
Survivors include her husband, David F., at home; two daughters, Christine Barta and Kimberly Barta, both at home; one son, Aaron, at home; and two sisters, Jean Greeman of Salem, Ky., and Janiel L. Klindt of Sanger, Calif.
Private burial will be in Elim Cemetery in Brush Prairie. Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground is in charge of arrangements.
