Wilma J. Dixon, 83, of Blooming Grove, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. Services will be on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 11 o'clock in the morning in The Magnolia Chapel at Corley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Blooming Grove.
Wilma Jo was born on September 8, 1937, in Fittstown, Oklahoma, to the late Thelma and Fred Hissam. Wilma and her husband, Robert Wallace, were married for 60 years before his passing and they had three children.
Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wallace Dixon; sister, Donna Petersen; and niece, Dorothy "Dotty" Land.
Survived by sons, Vance Dixon and his wife, Paula, and Robert Dixon; daughter, Leslie and Abel Villegas; grandchildren: Robby Dixon, Kevin Dixon and his wife, Lilly, Sean Dixon, Kirk Edmonson, and Hunter Dixon; great-grandsons: Tristan, Sean, and Stetson; great-granddaughter, Hollis; and numerous friends and extended family, as well as her cat, Bootsie.
