Dale Eugene Thomas, 81, of Indianapolis passed from this world on Thursday, June 10, 2021. He was born on Sunday May 5, 1940, to Edis E. and Marie (Palmer) Thomas in Ripley County, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by parents Edis E. and Marie (Palmer) Thomas, and sister Evelynn Thomas.
He is survived by loving wife Judith Ann (Stockwell) Thomas, sons Ricky Thomas, Randy Thomas, Robbie (wife Stephanie) Thomas, Rory (wife Jill) Thomas, daughters Kimberly Wilkey, Kelly (husband David) Osborne, brother Irvin Thomas, sisters Robena Demoss, 13 grandchildren Serenity Rose, Ryan, Matt, Login, Callie, Justin, Caleb, Kyle, Jeremiah, Mackenzie, Bryce, Colin, Brayden, and 10 great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Dale enjoyed unsweet tea out of his racing cups, watching nascar and his favorite sports on the back porch, relaxing on the front porch swing, sitting in his recliner and doing his crossword puzzles, and his El Producto cigars. He is loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank Brooke Knoll Village for their care for Dale in his last years of life.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 12, 2021 at Westpark Christian Church, 24 N Addison St., Indianapolis, IN 46222, visitation from 3:30 pm to 5 pm, service at 5 pm.
