She was the ninth child of twelve born to Benjamin and Tiena (Van Dam) Nakken. She married Roy Arthur Miller on August 19, 1958. She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, working as a mail carrier in Hopkins for many years. She and Roy were long time members of First Baptist Church of Allegan. She is survived by her husband of almost 63 years, Roy; and children, Melinda (Tom) Bultman, Dale Miller and Janice Crick.
