Phyllis Coleen Moore, 89, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Phyllis was born January 1, 1932 in Glenwood, Iowa the daughter of Carl Hardman and Nella (Swan) Hardman. On September 12, 1948, she married King Moore in Princeton, MO. Phyllis helped her husband operate their family farm, where their family grew to include two of their children, David and Angela. Phyllis completed her high school education in 1981.

She and King moved to Kirksville, MO in 1984 where they continued farming until King's passing in 1996. Additionally, she opened the Sunspot Tanning Center in 1985. After retiring, she worked for the Salvation Army in Jefferson City, MO.

Phyllis is survived by her children, David (Nicole) Moore of Fort Wayne, IN, Angela (Russell) Clay of Osage Beach, MO; four grandchildren, Adrienne Clay, Austin Clay, Addyson Clay, and Katelyn Moore, her sister-in-law, Jodi Hardman; nephews, Karl (Debbie) Hardman and Luke Hardman (Jaimie Crumley), and niece, Nancy Conley (Terry).

Phyllis was preceded in death by her father, Carl; her mother, Nella; her husband, King; her brothers, Rex Hardman, Wayne Hardman, and Wendell Hardman, and her nephews, Brad Hardman and Tim Hardman.

Phyllis loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of animals on the farm. She loved working at the Sunspot. She read her bible daily and enjoyed sharing with others. Phyllis was passionate about God, her children, and her grandchildren.
