Melissa Sue Lopez, 60, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

She was born on June 30th, 1960, in Winters, Texas to Isidro Diaz Lopez and Maria Ynostrosa Griffin.

Melissa attended Winters Public Schools. Her favorite past time was cooking and baking in which she held the Family title for best cook.

She is survived by her fiancé, Scotty Bryan of Ballinger, Texas; daughter, Ophelia Lopez of Winters, Texas; granddaughters, Alia Renfro, Hailey Renfro, and Mary Ann Renfro all of Winters, Texas; great-granddaughters, Journey and Zaylah Rodriguez of Winters, Texas; sisters, Sylvia Holloway of San Angelo, Texas, Cynthia Ganey of San Angelo, Texas, Vikki Garcia of Ballinger, Texas; brother, Ahmad Griffin of San Angelo, Texas and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Melissa is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Rebecca Weems.

Her ashes will be interred at a later date in Big Valley Cemetery.
