Karen was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1967, worked as a Bookkeeper for the former Marine Midland Bank in several local branches, for 20 years and also worked as a Tax Preparer for H&R Block for approximately 20 years.
She enjoyed living on the family farm, taking care of animals and previously participated in 4-H.
Survivors include a brother, Marshall Brown, of Dunkirk and multiple nieces & nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Paul T. Ellis, whom she married on June 10, 1972 in the Sheridan United Methodist Church and died May 17, 2021, they are now reunited for their anniversary, and by two brothers James A. Brown who died April 26, 1979 and Warren K. Brown who died March 13, 1996.
Graveside service at Pioneer Cemetery, Bennett State Road, Forestville, with Rev. David Watson, pastor of the Sheridan United Methodist Church, officiating.
