Clark L. (Roy) Posey, 83 of Gardendale passed away April 6, 2021. He was a faithful member of the church of Christ and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and National Guard. Roy was an avid New York Yankees fan, favoring #7 Mickey Mantle. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Jean Mitchell Posey. Roy is survived by a daughter Gina Posey Bain (Jimmy) of Fultondale, and son Clark L. Posey, Jr. of Gardendale. Grandchildren Trevor Bain (Cassie) of Hayden, Taylor Bain Layton (Steven) of Gardendale. Great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. The funeral and burial will be private. Clay Barnes, Minister officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Birmingham Veteran's Hospital.
