Mrs. Ada Pearl Kinney passed away on January 22, 2021. Ada was born July 1931 in Kansas City, MO to Essie Gillmore and Selden Ouart, a Deacon in their community Baptist church. She was the youngest of five children who preceded her in death: Selden Ouart, Jr.; James Ouart; Dorothy McDonald; and Ella Francis.
She was married to Chief Petty Officer Roger Howard Kinney for 58 years until his passing in May of 2007. Ada often worked part-time while raising her family.
Later in life, she served as a volunteer at her local community hospital, eventually being employed as a medical technician. Ada was active in her church, taught vacation bible school, sang in the church choir, participated in hospital and nursing home visitations, prayer groups, and bible study programs.
Ada was interred June 10, 2021.
