Barbara Ann Dixon, age 73 of Lake Village passed away Saturday June 05, 2021 at her home in Lake Village. Ms. Dixon was a native of Lake Village a retired LPN and a member of the Christian Liberty Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents Levern Freeman and Queen Ester Spaight, three sisters Martha White, Yvonne and Carla Freeman, five brothers Richard Martin, Don White, Jones "Surge" White, Alfred Freeman and Levern "Nutty" Freeman, Jr. Barbara was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, sewing and decorating.
She is survived by one son Travis Dixon, Jr. of Little Rock, two daughters Yolanda Dixon-Boatner(Mark) of Dermott and Tiffany Dixon of Lake Village, five brothers Bernard Martin of Jacksonville, AR., Nelson White, Jr. of Chicago, IL., Bobby Earl Freeman of Maumelle, AR., Dewayne White of Los Angeles, CA. and Cedric Freeman(Tiffany) of Little Rock, AR. six sisters Mary Evans(James), Marva Martin(Dee), Tarsha Armour(Gerard) all of Lake Village, Madora White of Calumet City, IL., Patricia White of Kansas City, KS. and Laura Freeman of Little Rock, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be Saturday June 12, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. at Central Community Baptist Church in Lake Village with Rev. Charles Hargraves officiating, followed by the burial at Greenland Cemetery. Pallbearers are Harry Tucker, Reginald Dixon, Cedric Jackson, Shannon Williams, James Plummer and Glen Dixon. Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Dixon, Travis Dixon, James Evans, Travis Dixon, Jr., Bobby Earl Freeman and Jordan Matthew.
