Randy Eugene Moody, age 65 of Blytheville, passed from this life Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at his home. Born in Blytheville, he was the son of the late Les Moody and was a 1973 graduate of Gosnell High School. Randy was the owner and operator of Moody's Heat and Air and was a lifelong area resident. He had served 27 years with the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department attaining the rank of Captain and Chief of Reserve Unit. Randy was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for deer hunting and enjoyed spending time at the lake with family and friends. He was a member of the Lone Oak Missionary Baptist Church in Blytheville. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Moody.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Luanne Howard Moody of Blytheville

Funeral service will be 2:00 P. M. Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the Lone Oak Missionary Baptist Church in Blytheville with Rev. Mitchell King officiating. Burial with honors by the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department will follow in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila. The family will receive visitors Saturday from 12:30 until service time at the church.
