Michael Stephen Burgess, also known as "Mike," of Tumon, was called to eternal rest on June 1, 2021 at the age of 72 years.
Mass of Intention was offered at Blessed Diego Luis de San Vitores Catholic Church in Tumon at 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday (no Mass on Thursday), at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, and at 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Sunday. Last respects were paid from 2 until 4:30 p.m. on June 24 at Guam Memorial Funeral Home, Leyang, Barrigada. Mass of Christian Burial was prayed at 10 a.m. on June 25 at Blessed Diego Luis de San Vitores Catholic Church, Tumon.
Due to the coronavirus, or COVID-19 pandemic, the bereaved were requested kindly to follow the social distancing guidelines of six feet and use face masks.
Private cremation followed.
