Eugene J. LeBlanc of Belle Chasse, LA, passed away on June 16, 2012 at the age of 93 years.

Beloved father of Cathy Logan (James), Donna Fitzpatrick (Charles), Douglas LeBlanc (Shirley), Wayne LeBlanc (Janet), Russell LeBlanc (Meri Lynn) and Brian LeBlanc.

Brother of Milton LeBlanc (Shirley), the late Alfred LeBlanc (the late Eva Mae), Cleophas "Lucky" LeBlanc (the late Nathalie), Roy LeBlanc, Verlin Trosclair (the late Nolan) and Robert LeBlanc (Jackie).

Son of the late Jeanne Alanzo LeBlanc and Joissant Cyril LeBlanc.

Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Mr. LeBlanc served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a First Scout with the 121st Infantry when he arrived in Normandy and is a recipient of the Purple Heart.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, June 18, 2012 from 6 PM to 10 PM. Visitation will resume at OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP CHURCH in Belle Chasse on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment will take place at Westlawn Memorial Park.
