She was born January 11, 1948, in Paris, the daughter of the late Vernon and Mary (Mullins) Thompson. She married Bill J. Hudson on October 19, 1990, in Casey, Illinois, and he survives.
Other survivors include three children, Robert (Stephanie) Tucker and Shannon (Latisha) Tucker both of Paris, and Natasha (Bart) Morgan of Marshall, Illinois; two brothers, Gary Thompson of Oakland and Michael Thompson of Kansas, Illinois; three sisters, Donna Greer of Lebanon, Illinois, Patty Agan of Oakland, and Mary Jo Thompson of Paris; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Tucker.
Marsha will be remembered as a person who enjoyed life's simple pleasures such as music and spending time with her friends and family. She had relaxed, easy-going personality, except when it came to politics. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
