Knoxville - Patricia Ann (Pat) Jenkins, 79, of Knoxville passed away on June 8, 2021. Pat was born in Springfield, TN, on December 22, 1941, a few weeks after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

She graduated in 1959 from Gallatin High School and obtained a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Austin Peay State University in 1963, being selected as the "First Lady of Austin Peay" her senior year. Pat was also a captain of the cheer squad at APSU. Pat worked for several years in area hospital labs as a medical technologist.

She was preceded in death by parents Harry and Kitty Weakley, her brother Stephen Weakley, and son Patrick Jenkins. Pat was a communicant of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son David (Becca) Jenkins of Knoxville, daughters Anne (Chris) Parris of Mechanicsville, VA, and Julie Jenkins of Sevierville, TN, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Also survived by her brothers David Weakley, Stewart, TN, Sam (Pamela) Weakley, Memphis, TN, and sister Beth (Jack) Brellenthin, Chattanooga, TN.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 11 at 11am EST at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Farragut. Visitation will be at Seton Hall following the Mass from 12:00 - 1:30.

Arrangements are by the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel, 11915 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37934.

A graveside service will be held at Crestview Funeral Home, Memorial Gardens & Cremation Center, 1623 Hwy 109 N, Gallatin, TN, on Friday, June 11,2021 at 4pm CST.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Saint Vincent de Paul ministry through Saint John Neumann Catholic Church.
