He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. He retired from Planters Nabisco Company after 27 years of faithful and dedicated service. He was a member of Rising St. James Pentecostal Church where he sung in the Male Choir.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Esther B. Paul of Suffolk; daughter, Laura L. Paul of Suffolk; son, Christopher Paul Jr. (P-Diddy) of Suffolk; two sisters, Gloria Utley Paul (Daniel) and Elnora Felton; two brothers, Joseph Paul, Jr. and Melvin Paul; two grandchildren, Alayzia A. Ricks and Zi'Myya Z. Paul; goddaughters, Whitney N. Wilson and Ayanna M. Harris; sisters-in-law, Sandra Paul, Sarah Paul and Diane Paul; other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 at Rising St. James PHC. Pastor Robert Wilkins will deliver the message of comfort. He will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
