Shirley was a native of Haywood County and a daughter of the late James and Eula Burnette Rogers. She was employed at American Enka with 35 years of service in the payroll department until her retirement in 1993. Shirley loved to work crossword puzzles, quilt, and enjoyed raising her children.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jack Baldwin; one daughter, Jessica Baldwin of Asheville; two sisters, Jimmie Ellen Henson (Richard) and Helena Smathers (Dean), all of the Bethel Community.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Bethel Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.
