Donna Rose Knox, 85, of Washington, died Monday, June 7, 2021, in her home.

She was born December 27, 1935, in Gallitzin, a daughter of the late Harold W. and Blondena Tennant Summers.

Mrs. Knox was a graduate of Washington High School and went on to work for RCA in Meadow Lands as an inspector and worked at home as a homemaker, where she collected angels and Santa Clauses.

She was a member of the Church of Christ, Washington, and was also a member of the Washington and Canonsburg Fraternal Order of Eagles.

On June 25, 1955, in Washington, she married Robert F. Knox, who died May 9, 1993.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth R. Knox and Kevin L. (Amanda) Knox, both of Washington; a daughter, Karen (John) Borda of Houston; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two sons, Dwayne and Kerry Knox; and a brother, Robert Summers.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. hour of service Thursday, June 10, in Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
