Sheila Kaye, daughter to Henry Scott and Inell Ligon Scott, began her earthly journey to the delight of her parents on January 6, 1960 in Clarksville, Tennessee. Her parents and brother, Sherman Bell Meriweather preceded her in death.

She accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and attended worship services at Renovation Church.

Sheila received her formal education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, and she was a graduate of Clarksville, High School with the Class of 1978.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, oftentimes dancing and sharing a good laugh. She enjoyed reading and cooking, and always had a hot meal for anyone in need. If you needed a place to stay, she had a couch; even when she didn't have much, she still gave. Such a caring and giving soul who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

On Wednesday, June 2, 2021, Sheila answered God's beckoning call to cease from her earthly labors and enter into eternal peace.

She leaves to cherish precious memories to be shared by her daughter, Kion (Jamie) Collins; sons: Ahmaud (Christina) Scott and Antwain Scott; sisters: Clair Mallory, Marilyn Scott, Mary (Earnest) Smith and Lisa (Ray) Lawrence, all of Clarksville, TN; brothers: James (Pearl) Meriweather, Columbus, GA, Lawrence (Tanky) Meriweather, Michael (Diana) Scott, Austin (Connie) Scott, William Henry (Kristen) Scott, all of Austin, TX and Kenneth (Carol) Scott, Clarksville, TN; 12 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Nancy Medley Meriweather; aunt, Shirley Norfleet; uncle, Carl (Brenda) Ligon and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
