Kenneth Ray Glenn, age 76 of Cartersville, GA passed from his earthly life into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, June 5, 2021. He was born on November 27, 1944 in Habersham County, Georgia, to the late Cornelius Nealie Glenn and Lonie Mae Whitlock Glenn.

After retiring from Lucent Technologies and the Georgia Army National Guard, he enjoyed driving a tour bus for Leisure Time Tours in Emerson, GA. He was blessed with many friends and loved spending time with them especially when camping at the lake. He was a member of Rowland Springs Baptist Church in Cartersville, where he loved his "Young at Heart" Sunday School Class. Ray was a true Patriot and very proud of the time he spent on active duty in the United States Army followed by the Army National Guard.

Ray is preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Simon (Inez) Glenn. He is survived by his loving wife of fifteen years, Patricia Field Glenn; sons, Tim (April) Glenn, Steve (Eleanor) Glenn, and Ken (Marilyn) Glenn; two step-sons, Greg (Angela) Huckaby and John Shulin; one step-daughter, Cindy Thompson; two sisters, Mildred Dyer and Sylvia Yarbrough, several grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

We will celebrate the life of a kind and loving Christian man at 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Rowland Springs Baptist Church 79 Rowland Springs Rd SE., Cartersville, GA 30121 with Rev. Joe Ringwalt officiating. Tim Glenn, Steve Glenn, Ken Glenn, Greg Huckaby, Jeff Yarbrough and Reece Thompson will be serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday June 10, 2021 from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm. The interment will be at 11:30 am on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Georgia National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers Ray and Pat would appreciate donations to St Jude's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 for Children in Ray's name.
