Mona Lee Smith, 59, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021.

She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Smith and Lois Lee Brock Smith and was the youngest of 11 children. Mona loved to read and listening to her favorite music artist, Elvis Presley and Rod Stewart. She loved spending time with her family, especially at her favorite holiday, Christmas. Mona loved the beach, enjoying relaxing and the sounds of the ocean. She had a big heart and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Smith Cagle and her brother-in-law, Tommie O'Rear.

Survivors include her brother, Raymond (Buddy) Goins and his wife, Gerrie; sisters, Margaret (Jimmy) Satterwhitte and Lillie Jean O'Rear; special nieces, Starla Ryan and Melissa Perry; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Mona's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, in the funeral home chapel with Brother Gary Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Beason Cemetery.
