Patsy Marie Taylor, 77, of Laporte Indiana, who loved to be called "Grandma Taylor" by her kids, departed her loving family on June 7, 2021.
A Celebration of Life gathering will take place Saturday June 26 with family and friends in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Patsy was born in La Porte, Indiana on Feb 15, 1944, and graduated from Laporte High School in 1962 and later married her husband of 56 years Richard Lynn Taylor in May of 1965. She was a proud homemaker and raised their children in South Haven, Indiana where she enjoyed bowling, bunco and spending time with her friends and family. She hosted many holiday events and especially loved Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations together with family. She and her family are huge fans of the Chicago Bears, Bulls and Cubs. She enjoyed traveling and making friends. She was able to visit Panama after the birth of her first grandson and meet her new extended family.
She was preceded by her parents Cleo Maxine Fritzen and Edward Miller and her son Greg Taylor.
Patsy is survived by her husband Richard; son Douglas Taylor, daughters in law Melissa Taylor, and Shelia Miller; grandsons Shane, Sean, Tristen and Dakota Taylor; granddaughters in law Andrea Taylor, Stephanie Taylor, and 5 great-grandchildren Norah, Rowan, Waverly, Kasins and Davanee; along with her brother Eddie Miller.
