Wesley Dale Wilkins of Danville, Virginia, passed away on May 24, 2021, at the age of 61. He was born on July 16, 1959, to the surviving Mamie Paschall Wilkins and the late Elvin Bryant Wilkins, Jr. in Stem, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Diane Wilkins.

Wesley was a member of the Pittsylvania County Hunt Club and worked as a driver for Van's Med-Tec. He loved NASCAR, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved grilling, and never met a stranger.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepson Richard Simmons (Hilary) of Danville, Virginia; his stepdaughter Christie Adkins (Scotty) of Danville, Virginia; his sister Michelle W. Willis (Jay) of Stem, North Carolina; his grandchildren Kaitlyn Jeffries, Kuper Simmons, Chloe Simmons, Madi Simmons, and Aiden Adkins; his great-grandson Brennen Burnett; his special dog Rona; and his goddaughter Brittney Keith. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his stepson Justin Simmons.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00PM on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Riveroak Church of God. The family will be receiving friends at the residence, 150 Natalie Lane, Danville, Virginia, 24540.
