Laura Jean Harvey, 82 years old of West Lafayette, IN, died Sunday, October 21, 2007 at the Indiana Veterans' Home.
She was born April 2, 1925 in Lafayette, IN, daughter of the late Harold Worthington and the late Edith M. Moore Worthington.
Laura Jean married Norman Harvey in Lafayette, IN on March 10, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1994.
A homemaker, she was a Life Member of the American Legion Auxiliary (serving as a past President), member of the World War II War Mothers, and was also a Life Member of 40 and 8 VFW.
Surviving are 3 Daughters, Norma (Warren)Kocher of Lafayette, IN, Joyce Gregory of West Lafayette, IN, and Lou Ann Harvey of Lafayette, IN; 3 Sons, Norman (Rinda) Harvey of Indianapolis, IN, Edwin Harvey of West Lafayette, IN, and Robert Harvey of Fort Wayne, IN; Sister, Dee Thornbaugh of Fowler, IN; Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Alan Dean Harvey.
Funeral Information
Friends will be received at the Indiana Veteran's Home Chapel in West Lafayette, Thursday October 25, 2007 from 12 PM to 2 PM. Services will follow at 2 PM with Chaplain David Hess officiating.
Interment will follow at Sandridge Cemetery, West Lafayette, IN.
