It is with great sadness that the family of Gary Haas Bennett announces that he went to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at the age of 60 years. Born to Edward and Opal (Haas) Bennett on August 1, 1960, Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years, Beth (Burrows) and his children Aaron (Sarah) and Sam. His grandchildren, Allison, Link, and Chloe will always remember their devoted grandpa as being full of fun. He will also be remembered with love by his brother Bill (Liz) and sister Joyce as well as several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Gary's family was the love of his life. He enjoyed being outdoors tending his yard or garden or relaxing in his swimming pool. He loved collecting model trains, tweaking Barbeque recipes, spending time with family and friends, woodworking and photography. Gary loved the Lord and was an active member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. He worked in marketing at Royal Oaks Hospital, Windsor, Missouri.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 9, 2021, from 6 – 8 PM at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 10, 1:00 PM, at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, 2001 W.
