COLEBROOK - Susan Joy Dickson passed peacefully on June 6, 2021, from ovarian cancer complications. Susan was born on May 28, 1964 the daughter of Joan [Scott] Dickson and Donald Dickson (d. 2019) . Other members of her family include her brothers Dana (Marlene) and Christopher (d. 2014), niece Sarah Dickson, nephew Matthew (Nikki and son Wyatt Christopher) Dickson, aunt Barbara Scott, and cousins.

Susie had an adventurous spirit and was game to try anything. After graduating from Colebrook Academy in 1982, she lived in various places with various occupations. In 1997, Susie purchased her house in Kittery, Maine and worked at the Stage Neck Inn, York, Maine for the past 24 years where deep friendships were formed.

Although her house was in Kittery, she always considered Colebrook home. And home is where she returned, surrounded by family and life-long friends that meant so much to her. With a gentle soul and loving heart, Susie leaves behind many fond and cherished memories. The love she shared on this earth will continue to be a blessing to many.

A graveside service will take place at the Colebrook Village Cemetery on Saturday, June 12th at 2:00PM.
