Born in Covington on September 15, 1948, Dwight was the son of the late Charles and Annie (Baskin) Riley. He attended Lincoln Grant from kindergarten to 11th grade and graduated from Holmes High School in 1966. While in school he played basketball and football and was in the band. Dwight enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, playing guitar, exercising and watching sports. He loved spending time with his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Dwight was preceded in death by his brother: Charles Anderson Riley "Sonny".
Dwight is survived by his son: Dwight (Leatrice) Riley, Jr.; daughter: Gail McCrary; son: Darren (Virginia) Riley; sister: Barbara (Eugene) Vinson and grandchildren: Samuel, Gabrielle, Sydney, Kirsten, Ayden, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
A memorial service for Dwight will be held Saturday, June 12th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home located, 1129 Garrard Street, Covington, Kentucky (41011).
