Elizabeth "Betsy" Marie (Loder) Ferguson, passed away June 7, 2021 at New Albany Garden & Care Center. She was born on August 27, 1940 in Charleston, WVa and then moved to Wheeling, WVa, where she attended Wheeling College. Betsy was a flight attendant then became a wonderful mother and homemaker to her 3 children. Longtime member and volunteer of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Elizabeth was an amazing woman, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was known for her sense of humor, quick wit, her wonderful spirit and character who always brought out the best in everyone around her. She was full of strength, integrity, honesty, humility, unselfishness and sweet loving spirit. She was very courageous, determined, persistent, stubborn and German to the core! She was a woman of strength who fought like a soldier "One day at a time" till the very end! She is preceded in death by parents Hugh and Marie Loder, brother Hugh J. Loder, sister Susan Mansuetto and brother-in-law Francis Mansuetto. Survived by children, Ann E. Killilea of Columbus, OH, Ellen M. (John) Able of Minneapolis, MN and Christopher J. (Lori) Ferguson of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Heath (Caitie) Killilea, Evan (Kelsey) Killilea, Cassady Killilea, Kaitlyn Killilea, Brock Killilea, Danielle Able, Jacob Able, and Amanda Able; great-grandchildren, Kyler Killilea and Brooks Killilea; brother and sisters, William (Diane) Loder, Mary (Randall) Bassett, Patricia (James) Chuckery; various nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and close special friends. Friends may call Friday, June 11 from 10-11am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4383 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43213, where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am.
