Barbara T. Duane, 70, of Columbus, passed away June 5, 2021. Barbara was born May 4, 1951 in Columbus, OH to Oliver and June (Hollingshead) Tallman. She retired from the United States Army. Barbara was active in All Saints Lutheran Church and First Community Village. She loved traveling and was very devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. Barbara will be deeply missed by her husband, Rodney of 25 years; children, Michael (Tiffany) Duane, Meghann (John) Laughlin, Jennifer Duane, Kevin (Jennifer) McFarland, Thomas Duane; grandchildren, Christian Duane, Miriam and Ian Laughlin, Oliver Duane; sisters, Joyce Tallman, Marilyn Miller; and her uncle, Clifford Tallman; along with many other family and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Gary Miller. Visitation will be Monday, June 14, 2021 from 9am until the time of service at 11am at All Saints Lutheran Church, 6770 N. High St., Worthington, OH. Burial will be at Northlawn Cemetery, where military rites will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
