Judy Lynne Davis, 79, of Burkburnett, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021.
Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 at Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma with Rev. Joe Coombes officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett.
Judy was born on February 21, 1942 in Wichita, Kansas to the late Wilfred Berlin and Thelma (Kiehl) Berlin. She married Everett L. Davis on August 30, 1957. Married to a Marine, Judy and Everett moved several times, living in California, North Carolina and South Carolina. Following Everett's retirement from USMC, his new career with UPS would eventually take them to Wichita Falls / Burkburnett where they have resided since 1986. Judy treasured her children and embraced every moment with them, and she especially loved her role as Mamaw.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 64 years, Everett Davis; her children, Lonnie Davis and wife Carol of Humble, Kathy Preston of Wichita Falls, and Melissa Caro and husband Michael of Elgin, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Chris Leasure, Allen Leasure, Mareesha Davis-Heck, Jonluke Davis, Garrett Johnson, Brennan Johnson, Austin Caro, and Braeden Caro; one great-grandchild on the way; her sisters, Laura Fisher, Mary Dixon, Leila Knecht, Ann Berlin, and Dorothy Berlin; and numerous favorite nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
