Marcia Anne (Sarto) Russell born May 18, 1948 in Roanoke, Virginia, passed away June 4, 2021. Marcia is survived by her husband of 52 years, William Gordon Russell, whom she married on February 15, 1969 in Dublin, Ireland. Also survived by her children Eileen, David (Kelly), Eric (Kim), Belinda (Fred), Shannon, and Colleen (Brian) as well as her grandchildren: Nathan, Kristina, Bryanne, Jacob, Morgan, Samantha, Breydan, Abigail, Ean, Madelyn, Dominic, and Damon. Marcia is also survived by her 7 siblings, in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Jack and Hilda, sister-in-law, Myrna Russell, and brother-in-law, Frank Smith. She taught them all that family is most important, to love life, to work hard, and to never give up. She will be missed by all!
Marcia and Bill spent many years owning and operating St. Lawrence Carpet Cleaning. She also spent 30 years doing income taxes during the season with H & R Block which she continued all the way through 2021, enjoying every minute of it.
Marcia enjoyed many adventures with family and friends. She was an avid card player and taught her children and grandchildren the same love of games. She participated in many groups and activities where she made memories and friendships.
