Abigail M. Reiser, six-months old, of Sidney, died in her sleep on Friday, April 11, 2003. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today at the Evangelical Free Church in Sidney with Rev. Doug Birky officiating. Private family burial will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery in Sidney. Memorials may be given to the families choice. Gehrig & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Abigail Marie Reiser was born on October 3, 2002 at Scottsbluff, the daughter of Lawrence and Lisa (Taylor) Reiser. She was welcomed home by her sister Rachel. Abby and Rachel were enrolled in Home Away From Home Daycare where they laughed and played with all of their friends. Abby was a very happy baby and will always be remembered for her chubby cheeks and big blue eyes and smile. She will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include her parents, Larry and Lisa Reiser of Sidney; two sisters, Rachel Reiser of home in Sidney and Krissa Reiser of Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Jarod Reiser of Omaha; her grandparents, Richard Taylor of Beaver City, Neb., Ray and Donna Bunnell of Hastings, Neb. and Jerome and Georgia Dopheide of Butte, Neb.; great-grandparents, Cecil and Helen Taylor of Kearney, Neb. and Leo and Ruby Hanes of Curtis, Neb.; special friends, Dana and Bridget Reece and family of Sidney and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edward Reiser, two cousins, Brad and Anthony and a special friend, Mary Jo Dutton.

She was moved to Maple Creek Cemetery, buried next to her grandfather, Richard Taylor, on June 7, 2021.
