Johnnie Mae Richardson Allen was born on October 25, 1925 in Marshall, Texas, Harrison County to Betty Richardson Lively.
She was united in marriage in 1947 to Benjamin James Allen in Marshall, Texas. To this Union 6 children were born. She Had one son prior to this union.

Johnnie was united in the Methodist Church at an early age in Marshall, Texas. She later joined Greater Friendship Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Joe Foster where she was baptized. Later under the leadership of Pastor Anthony Brown and in the last 11 years under Pastor Parrish Lowery where she remained faithful until her prevented her from attending regularly.

Johnnie was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Benjamin Allen.
She leaves to cherish her memories, son, Zarrie Richardson, Billy Allen, Windell Allen (Marian), Elliott Allen (Linda); daughters Maggie Fox (Lewis), Bettie Wilson (Michael) and Cassandra Allen; two grandsons whom she helped raise, Michael and Armand, 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, one bonus daughter, Annette Eaton and a host of other relative and friends.
